Overall Nice Compressor

Good product. Quiet, a little overpriced this is based on a 13 gallon with good reviews that i had looked at, the deciding factor for me was the Canadian Tire 24 month no interest financing.
The only other thing I will point out is, it may require a 20 amp breaker, it continues to trip my circuit breaker when the compressor runs, but I also have other equipment on the same circuit breaker and it is only a 15 amp circuit breaker. If you are able I would run a separate power line for the compressor if you can , or limit what you hook up. I have not fully tested the compressor,s capabilities yet. What it can and cannot run .

Autant j'en étais fier initialement. Autant j'ai l'impression de m'être fait avoir maintenant!
Utilisé quelques mois avec usage léger ici et là... Une journée, je l'entends essayer de démarrer, puis s'arrêter après un tour ou deux de moteur disons. Je ne porte pas trop attention, mais je réalise quelques minutes après que le disjoncteur a sauté. Je ferme le compresseur, ouvre le breaker et réessaie de démarrer le compresseur: Rien. J'enlève un peu d'air et réessaie plusieurs fois le démarrage (on/off/on/off/...) et pouf il finit par redémarrer. Ça semble être relié à la pression, mais même en vidant le réservoir, ça semble irrégulier le démarrage. Quand il essaie de démarrer, il bloque toujours après "une ou deux" révolution et ensuite fait un brut de scillement et le breaker saute si je le laisse aller comme ça. Clairement un défaut de conception sur le produit vu les autres commentaires ici. Je n'ai plus de reçu.. les premiers mois j'étais excessivement satisfait du faible bruit et du format, donc j'ai fini par oublier où j'ai mis la facture.. où bien l'ai jetée. Bref, maintenant je me retrouve extrêmement déçu de la mauvaise qualité du compresseur et pris à "zigonner" dessus à chaque fois pour qu'il démarre, vider le réservoir au complet, espérer... Pas fort pour du "Testé". Ça prendrait un recours collectif pour cet item. Je suis surpris qu'ils essaient encore de le vendre en étant clairement conscient du problème beaucoup trop récurrent. Moi qui pensais être une exception...
Je ne le recommande vraiment pas malheureusement.

Maximum compressor

Absolute junk. I thought this was a great option as it is very quiet compared to the mastercraft version. And I mean very quiet as it doesn’t make a sound!!!! Since it doesn’t run!!! This is my second unit, as they replaced the first one at an extreme hassle. As everyone says the compressor will not start up and trips the breaker. I also had my electrician run a dedicated 20 amp circuit as I thought it might be a wiring issue but not the case. Don’t waste your money.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Has anyone used this compressor to blowout irrigation lines?

A: Yes I use mine to empty my irrigation lines. I turn pressure down to about 40 psi. I use about a full tank of air to empty lines in each zone. I take my time and let the compressor cool down between the zones to not overheat. I have blown out my lines for 2 seasons now. It works great.

Q: When it turns on it seems to turn over once and then just makes an electrical hum noise. I turn it off an on and then usually it fires up normally. Should I get a replacement or a refund?

A: Mine does the same thing. It yook a while for me to discover that so i cannot get a refund. I think the issue is that when there is pressure in the tank, the motor is not strong enuff to get the thing going again. If you are within the warranty I would get s refund snd do not buy the same model.

A: You can definitly leave the compressor "full", or at maximim pressure. It will likely drop in pressure if the unit is not plugged in, but it's totaly safe to leave it as is after use. If the motor is humming, but not actually running, then that is abnormal and should be looked into further.

Q: At what pressure should this compressor stop at? Mine keeps running and does not shut off, pressure was up to 160 PSI before i shut it off manually.

A: Air compressors typically have an adjustable shut off. One of guages should be for that purpose. Check manual on how to change/adjust its pressure regulator.

A: The label on the tank says 4 CFM at 90 psi. I consider the 5cfm at 40 psi irrelevant. It doesn't struggle to keep up under steady frequent use.

A: Tank is a little small for things like die grinders, cut off tool or air hammers. If you're only doing it once in a while it's fine, but long term use wouldn't be suggested.
