Good saw, needs a better blade

The saw works well except the blade could be better. After wearing out the included blade, I replaced it with an slotted blade that I had nearly worn out from a saw I had several years ago and it cut at least twice as well as the included blade worked when new.
There were a few washers missing, I used some I had on hand to complete the assembly.
Overall the saw itself is quite good so far.

Buyer Beware

First job the motor started smoking and making horrible noises. Due to Canadian Tire's return policy for this item they could only send it away for repair or provide a store credit. Stay away from this saw and be very careful about reading or asking about the return / repair policy before purchase. Now I have a store credit that expires in 12 months and I do not want to buy any more junk from this store!

Disappointing

I’m partly through the assembly and I don’t think I’ll be able to complete it. Most of the lock washers were missing. The hex bolts that fasten the saw unit to the frame can’t be fully tightened no matter how much torque is applied, which would doubtless result in safety and accuracy issues. Although I haven’t run it, the quality of the unit seems cheap and poorly finished. I recommend against buying it.

Excellent saw

Cut 1.5” and 2” flagstone no problem, excellent saw for the money. Can’t comment on the blade because I swapped it out with a better blade before we started using it.

A: Yes. I recently purchased this saw for a shower remodel and was pleasantly surprised by how well it performs. I've ripped 12*24 marble stone tiles length wise without any issues. I use 80 grit sand paper to polish off the cut end afterwards.
