Shin guards don't match (sizing)

Bought these shin guards (removed tags and packaging) only to find that one shin guard is much smaller than the other. They aren't the same size. Likely an error from the distributor. Unfortunately, I'd already discarded the packaging. The shin pads are a good price, I would have been happy had they both been the correct size.
