Perfect for your home projects!

This is the perfect tool for the DIY homeowner. While you could technically use standard wire cutters or a saw, this dedicated cable cutter is specifically designed to shear wire rope cleanly. This prevents the ends from splitting or fanning outa major positive if you need to thread the cable through small holes in garden posts or supports when finishing the basement.
The bypass blade design acts like high-powered scissors, ensuring the cable maintains its shape for easy installation into hardware. At 8 inches, its small enough to fit into tight corners between railing posts where bulky bolt cutters simply can't reach.
The Lifetime Exchange Warranty at Canadian Tire is the standout feature. If the blades dull or the spring snaps, you can walk into any store for an immediate over-the-counter replacement.
This tool is specifically for flexible wire rope. Attempting to cut hardened bolts or nails will probably ruin the blades.
I definitely would NOT recommend for industrial or professional use.

I loved using this tool, It was a breeze cutting the old rusty tomatoe wire cages to put in the garbage. I did not have to use much force so did not hurt my hands with the rubber handles, These will come in handy in the spring to get everything ready for the yard after winter, I would buy these again for sure.

The Mastercraft 8-inch Wire Rope Cutter is perfect for my DIY project around the home. I like the compact size makes as it makes it easy to handle. The jaws cut the wire without fraying. I don't think this will work for industrial use but it is perfect for around the home projects (I like to use this for trimming wire for garden projects).
