Lesson learned

I bought this to use to drill aluminum, I did not end up using it, i fortunately I came across another site that was selling a similar drill bit for half the price of this one so I bought 2 of them for the price i paid for this. I am going to point out that CT pricing seems to be increasing to where I need to shop around to get the best price. It was also the same with there 15 gallon air compressors there was a 13 gallon that was over a100$ cheaper. The only thing I feel CT has going for themselves is the 24 month 0% financing when you spend over 200.

No Good for steel

This drill bit is not make for drilling holes in steel. I tried to drill hole in a piece of steel flat and made it about 1/8 of an inch through before the drill bit went dull.

Dont pick this bit!!!

I know, you need a drill bit today to get your job done, so you pick it up in 20 minutes. DONT DO THAT. this drill bit couldn't make it 1/4" into metal with cutting oil, and proper technique.
Save yourself time and money by getting a colbalt bit online, they finished my project in seconds.

it bent in no time, was using it to set the wholes of an aluminium trailer coupler, used about 2 times 5 min each the shank bent like spaghetti 40 bucks to the trash wuu
