The flints met all of the requirements for use in a spark striker - they made sparks and lit an oxy-acetylene torch.
You really need to hire an editor to catch silly errors in your questions - see the either/or question with only a Yes/No response - zero stars for intelligence on this.

A: I couldn't wait any longer for an answer so I brought my Shurlite to Canadian Tire and tried a flint from a Mastercraft sparker. It fit perfectly do I bought the 5 piece flints.

A: After double checking, 058-8046 (replacement flints) could not be used on Zippo due to different flint size.
