Nice sturdy work bench

I am quite pleased with the quality of this work bench. I really enjoy the height adjustment feature which makes it versatile for working on different projects. The castors seem to be good quality and lock both in wheel rotation and direction which keeps it stable. The only negative things about the workbench are the high price and the first one that I received had a top with a lot of hairline cracks. Canadian Tire exchanged it, but it was a process as the replacement was not on site and it took about 1.5 hrs to bring it to the store but it is a 45 min trip to come back to pick it up so I waited for it. It would be a nice feature also to have a storage clip or a pivot for the handle as it protrudes quite far and I prefer to remove it.

Table top is questionable

The stand part of this is OK but the table is pretty bad. Strips of bamboo that have cracks running along the grain, a third of the top doesn't feel sanded down so it goes from rough to smooth, and the top is a bit warped. I'm using it as a table to place recording gear for a misc room so I guess it will pass but as an office desk it might drive you nuts, and as a shop table (what it is actually supposed o be) the top is not flat or smooth enough. I have a feeling I'm eventually going to have to replace the top with something salvaged from an old desk. Too bad everything is cheap garbage nowdays.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Yes the crank handle cant be removed once at desired height. The wood surface is 3cm thick and is 62 x 24".
