save your money

bought one of these to supply water while my water line was frozen underground ....first one would not work on 115 volt took it back ....second one was the same worked on 12 volt only ...5 days of use and the pressure switch to turn on went ....what a waste of money...bypass pressure switch and it will pump good and shut off ....will have to make it work ...
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Use as in-line rain barrel pump? I have hose fittings coming out of the bottom of my rain barrels (2; interconnected). Can this be put in-line between two garden hoses to add some pressure to the water coming out of my rain barrels to water flowers, fill watering cans, etc?

A: We recommend not to use the pump in any way other than suggested in the instructions.

Q: Will this pump work as a pressure booster for a cottage Cottage water supply is gravity fed from an elevated tank (400gal). If I insert this pump between the tank and the cottage will it work as a pressure booster? Does it turn off and on, on demand?

A: Yes it will. However, the internal pressure switch will turn the pump on and off only if there is absolutely no leak in piping (this happen often at the toilet tank valve). If it is cycling, install a switch to turn the pump on and off manually.

A: This pump is not designed to run continuously, especially for something like a fountain or minnow tank that contains aquatic life. It is recommended that you use 062-3521. Its design is better suited for this application.

A: The flow rate varies based on the height of the pump head, the suction and discharge pipe size, the length of the piping, the friction loss of the application and some other minor factors. Under the best conditions, this pump moves 360 GPH at 0’ of head and moves 260 GPH at 40’, then drops rapidly to 0GPH above 40’
