Great sturdy stand

Great stand and love the bonus stand.. this holds my Mastercraft 12” sliding dual bevel mitre saw with zero issue. I will agree that the design of the mounting brackets is not good at all because the plastic handles will crack if you just set it on them on the ground, I put down two 4x4s and rest it on them, I would not like to leave saw directly on ground anyways. But that for sure could be better, maybe they will recall those and offer replacements brackets..

Cheap plastic levers

Only as strong as the weakest link. Why make a solid metal stand only to have the most important safety feature made of cheap brittle plastic. I called customer service and they informed me they don't have replacement levers either. Very frustrating to have a brand new stand only to break a vital component the first time in use. The only way to secure the dangerous saw to the stand is with these levers and once one breaks the entire stand is useless. Slow clap for the engineer drop outs on this one.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Looks like a great saw stand

Just bought this saw stand March 13/25.Have not attached my miter saw to it yet.Spring is here ,so the projects will be starting. Very little assembly required. Note* When the saw is removed from stand with the quick release mounting brackets, place 2 x 4 pieces of wood underneath before sitting it down. This will protect the plastic leavers from being damaged. I hope this will help future purchasers .

A: Yes, it can be used with a sliding compound mitre saw as long as the mitre saw size under below range and the mount hole size match the stand hole size. The max mounting distance is 38cm (14 31/32”).
