Nice features - poor quality components.

This little lathe has many good features but sadly is equipped with a weak and unreliable motor and/or internal electrical system. This is the second one I have tried and both quit after only a few hours of operating.

    Not very good. Go elsewhere.

Weak motor that heats up quickly. Almost stops turning and I'm not even pushing the chisel in to the work piece, just guiding it. Big face plate suggests that you can turn bigger work pieces but the motor can't handle it. I don't recommend this product. Find something better somewhere else.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Good, not great

The tail stock is off center. right out of the box it requires a small adjustment but it's a big deal. One of the tools snapped on me. Sharp metal flew through the air during a project. Incredibly dangerous. Motor died after 2 years of regular use. I mostly make pens, so nothing heavy duty at all. When it did work, it was great. But it was an effort to get it to where it needs to be. Good intro to wood turning at best.

No, I do not recommend this product.
