This adaptable saw set includes 11 different bi-metal hole saws, two different hex shank mandrels, and four replacement ¼" pilot drill bits. This durable and dependable saw set can be used to cut through plastic, wood and metal.

    • Bi-metal material lasts longer than carbon steel when drilling into wood

    • 11x bi-metal hole saw: 3/4, 7/8, 1, 1-1/8, 1-1/4, 1-3/8, 1-1/2, 1-3/4, 2, 2-1/8, and 2-1/2"

    • 2x hex shank mandrels (⅜"): 9/16 to 1-3/16" & 1 ¼ to 6"

    • 4x replacement ¼" pilot drill bits

    • Innovative tiered ejection slot on size 1 ⅛" and larger — enhances productivity by providing access and leverage to remove material slugs

    • Variable-pitch teeth make for faster and smoother cuts

    • For best results (Wood): apply enough pressure to create sawdust flow — (Metal): use cutting oil to keep the blade cool and extend blade life — (Cleaner Hole): as pilot drill passes through material, stop drilling and restart from the other side, using the pilot hole as a guide

Q: no instructions. how do i attached the large mandrel to the hole says that have pins on either side? the pins are too high so i cannot thread the saw onto the mandral. on the small mandral i used that and now since use i cannot remove.

    • A: Where the pins are:  grab the round metal collar - the bottom has a metal ring with a rough design around it, grab it and pull it down it will lower the pins thread the mandrel on then the push the collar back up which raises the pins back up

Q: Once the holesaw has been used, how can I unscrew the holesaw from the guide bit? After cutting through a 2" metal door and a couple 2x4's, the holsesaw is very solidly screwed onto the bit. How can the two be unscrewed, so that I can put them back into the box?

Q: how deep these saw cut? can they cut 2 inches thick wood?

    2 Answers
    • A: Yes,.they can..but only if you have access to the other side of the wood, and you use a drill bit that is longer than 2 inches. When you make a cut on one side of the wood, simply let your drill go through the piece, then start the cut on the other side using the drill hole to guide you through. You can cut holes through 3- 1/2" wood this way.

    • A: A real man would grab the chuck with one hand, and back it out. When something is stuck try to force back and forth, both directions.
