Faulty products, poor built and hazardous.

The big one works fine, but the small one is hazard, the handle does not lock the bits in, with the smallest amount of pressure the bit retracts and your hand hits whatever in on the way. Got few bruises because of it. Have exchanged for a new set, even worse than the first. Faulty product.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Screwdriver heads don’t lock in. Took back and all I could get was store credit because the package was opened. How can you see if they work without opening the package.

A: The groove on the blade is used to make the handle stuck. The longest length of the blade that can be exposed is that the last groove at the blade end stuck inside the metal ring. The smooth part at the end of the blade does not have the function of sticking in the handle.

Q: Are these bits already, or can they be made magnetic?

A: This item is not magnetized. A magnetizer must be used to make these bits magnetic, Canadian Tire carries the Mastercraft Magnetizer and Demagnetizer (0573424) that could be used to make the bits magnetic.

Q: How long can the screwdriver be extended to?

A: There are two kinds of blades in this set. A. 6pc double ended blades with 4mm dia have a total length of 110mm, while insert it into small handle, the range of exposed blade length is from 5cm to 8cm. B. 6pc double ended blades with 1/4" dia have a total length of 180mm, while insert it into big handle, the range of exposed blade length is from 11cm to 14.5cm
