Attempting to Organize the Monster

I am in the middle on this product. I found it a little tricky to put together and I found the instructions in a couple circumstances confusing. Once it is up it looks great and it should hold a lot of stuff as there are a lot of screws working to hold it up. The snap together wasn’t as tight is I thought it would be but I don’t think that effects anything structurally. I put up one 8x4 ft, one 8x2 ft and one 4x4 ft section. I think the garage looks neater all ready.

Great kit

This is a pretty nice kit. It is relatively easy to install as long as you carefully read the instructions. The hooks are handy and organize the garage space beautifully. Note that the actual track panels are all plastic/vinyl and only the hooks are steel, despite what the description says. This is probably for the best as steel panels would be really heavy to install.

Q: Where do the panels attach to the wall? I am mounting them on the short side of 2x4s that are 2 ' apart, so if they screw to the wall right at the ends and in the middle, I'll be in good shape. Thanks.

A: You must start & finish installing the easy track wall system on studs. Studs should be centered 16 in. apart in order for slatwall to support 75 lb per square foot. Below is an image demonstrating where the screws go through the panel.
