The Mastercraft Countersink Drill Bit is an ideal choice for drilling into wood, plastic, and other soft materials. Made from durable carbon steel with hardened cutting edges, this 1/4-in drill bit quickly and easily cuts countersunk holes. The angled head allows the bit to bore a conical shape, leaving a clean, tapered opening to accept a flathead screw. Suitable for use in a hand drill or drill press, this Mastercraft drill bit features a fluted design that clears away material as it cuts. Its carbon steel construction provides strength and longevity through repetitive use.

Not the best countersink I've ever used!!! Had too use an incredible amount of downward force to make it bite in and cut. Must be made overseas of inferior build quality.
