Q: clamping force specification? Does Canadian Tire have a clamping force specification available for these C clamps?

A: The clamping force for 057-2610 is a min 200lbs. Our clamping force acceptance is as follows: Clamps shall provide the minimum forces outlined below and be equal or better than the benchmark 1” = min 200 lbs, 2” = min 250 lbs, 3” = min 350 lbs, 4” = min 400 lbs, above 4” = min 450 lbs

Q: I want a C clamp for future brake pad replacement on Pontiac Vibe 06. Could you please advise the size of C clamp I should buy between 1-6 inches. Thx

A: Our recommendation would be to go with a 6” as it can be adjusted smaller if needed.
