A great buy, well satisified!

I upgraded my old 6 inch Delta bench grinder to this big guy back in 2012 (if I recall correctly). Regardless, I know its been at least 10 years and its still going strong. The 3/4 HP motor turns the stones/wire wheels just as well as it did when new. I'll also say the added adjustable light is a wonderful option, especially so when fine grinding bits or blades. I believe I'm on my 4th light bulb.
Chock this up as another terrific and well built Mastercraft tool, never an issue nor a vibration.

the wheels are out of balance side to side. So it would vibrate off the table if it wasn't bolted down.

A: It may take some doing but it is possible to put a buffing wheel on a bench grinder as well as sanding wood.

A: No, the running speed of the grinding wheel is too fast. It is easy to get the knife burned black when sharpening.

A: Bench grinder uses a running capacitor as the starting capacitor. It is normal to reach running speed within approximately 10 seconds within 10 seconds in indoor temperature,

Q: the motor heats up too much i recently bought this bench grinder i unboxed it and tested runned it, and after running it for 5 minutes the motor heats up so much that i cant touche it with my bare hands what should i do
