Does the job, barely

Very flimsy and the screw section is too light weight. The dewalt option is significantly more robust and works better. However if you are stuck this would be workable but I don’t think you would like it

The only reason I gave this a one star rating is because there isn't a negative star! Spend the extra money and get some thing that actually is useful. What a piece of _____! If the price went down to $3.00, get a cup of coffee instead.

Q: What is the maximum tension? How much tension can the strap hold (a) before slipping and/or (b) before breaking? After reading a great deal of negative reviews related to this matter in question I am somewhat reluctant to purchase this item.

A: It says 13 feet. The out door Cedar Planter box i made is 16 inches tall and 3 ft by 2 ft and had no problem holding together. The people must be using it wrong. Just push the tension bar and it stays until released. See here is a picture of the box no issues.

A: Please set corner braces, pull band tight, and “fine-tune” pressure using the handle. If this does not work, it is likely that you received a defective product and we recommend returning it with your proof of purchase for an exchange.

A: You just position the base-corner of the clamp in a flat section of the octagon and tighten the strap to hold the octagon box together.

Q: Comment éviter que la serre se relâche d'elle-même? Lors de l'achat (dans l'emballage d'origine) la courroie est enroulée sur un petit cylindre en plastique noir. Ce cylindre a-t-il une utilité quelconque? Merci

A: Vous devez vous assurer que les loquets sur les côtés qui maintiennent la courroie (de chaque côté de la poignée) sont bien flippé. S'ils se font touché une fois la courroie est serrée, il relâchera la pression. Le cylindre noir est là pour enrouler la courroie pour le ranger (comme il est dans l'emballage).
