Motor failure, sparks. first one bearing went

I purchased one of the 9a model many years ago. it lasted 5 years until the bearing went and it spun off axis.
the second one I bought appeared improved. that one lasted under two years before the motor slowed down one day and threw sparks.
they keep discontinuing and reinventing the same model until it inevitably gets so many bad reviews that they do it again.
No, I do not recommend this product.
