Table Insert not flat

Even though the router plate insert has leveling screws, it is made of plastic and warps when you tighten the screws instead of staying flat. This causes inconsistent router finish. set up and used for first time yesterday and switched back to my hand held router instead

  • A: Here are the dimensions of the plate: 304mm (11.97” )x 203mm (8”). Note that the dimensions of the plate will not affect the operation. Please refer to pages 28 to 29 of the manual for router compatibility of other non-Mastercraft models.

  • A: The router mounting plate is not aluminum. It is a high-strength plastic plate in the top of MDF tabletop. The router is mounted under the plate.
