Good value.

Got on sale. Needed it to drill holes on brick. Worked flawlessly and quickly. Lightweight yet feels solid in hand. Came with many bits in a case. Also a depth gauge that was extremely helpful. My only gripe is it did not come with a 1/2” hammer drill bit. I don’t know how it would hold up to extreme use.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Shouldnt you be able to feel and hear the difference between the dill and hammer modes? I dont......

  • A: I don't like the switch. I think if you see the hammer, it ought to be in Hammer mode. Like a car, you see the gear it is in. In this drill, you push the selector to cover up the mode that it is in.

Q: Can it be used with an extension cord? I have 16AWG outdoor cord I think 25 feet long. Can I use it with that?

4 Answers
  • A: I've used it outdoors with extension cord on several occasions. Shouldn't be a problem for you. My only issue with this drill has been that it has no variable speed & does not brake when you release the trigger which is problematic when you're using it with screws as it tends to drive the screws right through the wood.

Q: Is this drill powerful enough to use to remove and put on lug nuts for wheels ?

  • A: I doubt it.  You need an impact wrench for that.

Q: Does it reverse?

2 Answers
  • A: Yes, it does reverse. Please note - This drill does not have a brake stop feature, meaning that when you release the power button, it continues to rotate, whereas most drills will stop immediately. This is the one feature that is annoying to me, especially when I'm using it to drive screws into wood. I discovered this when I went to use it for the 1st time about 4 months after purchasing it. I didn't think I'd be able to return it to exchange for model that has that feature.
