Q: What material are these shelving units made of and is there any kind of coating on them? Also, is it possible to order additional shelves?

A: These products are not recommended for food storage. They will suffice for short periods of time, but perishable items would be better suited for actual food storage containers.

Q: Are casters an option? Is it an option to use casters with this shelving unit? Does it come with them or which casters would I buy separately? What would be the weight limit if using casters?

A: This product do not support use with casters. And pls keep the shelving unit on a hard and level surface. Never assemble on a carpet.
