I received this light as a gift, after opening and disposing of the box and sale receipt I noticed that the light would randomly turn on by itself and drain the battery, every time I would go to use the light it would be dead, so a week later I figured I would take advantage of the 1 year warranty it offers but to my surprise due to the fact of not having the receipt and the light being bought in cash, no warranty was offered so now I'm out a light, time and money.... Would NOT recommend this light.

Q: How long to fully charge? Will red light turn green when charged?

A: Answering my own question. Took 4 hours to charge and the light did turn green. Last time I charged, the led stayed red for longer than 4 hours and I unplugged to not overcharge. Both times the battery was completely drained when I plugged it in. As with all lithium batteries, there was no warning, the light just turns off when battery drained. I like this flashlight. Small, bright and stands steady on it's own flat surfaces.

Q: There are two small loops on the top spine, one near the head and one near the tail. What are those used for?

A: Those holes can be used for looping a string through it, or used with a wire to hang the flashlight wherever you want.
