We purchased this for an elderly relative who needed to reach an upper shelf. Even though only two steps were really needed, this 3-step model had enough height in the top handle bar to support some body weight and provide stability. Love the easy release to unlock and fold it up! Sturdy yet not excessively heavy.

I really love it! It is sturdy and steady and I feel much safer using it and not my old rickety one! Definitely senior friendly. It is a bit heavier than my old one, but a I’m sure it hat it is much safer for me to use. Great sale price too!
