Good for home

For what I’m using it for (changing my tires, small trim work at home), It’s not bad. I used a construction extension cord at first and it was working good until the compressor would try to start itself and started making a weird noise .. blew my fuse and the cord was hot. Plugged it in straight to the wall and it runs perfect. Giving it t4 star because it’s so loud and it takes a while to fill up

Opened it up to take a look and it will be like a 2 hours process just to change the air filter in this air compress you have to undo the plumbing and wiring then unbolt and lift out the pump/motor assembly just to clean/change the air filter absolutely horrible design would not buy just based off of that shouldn’t have to take it completely apart just to change the air filter.

Not too bad but the quick connect air fittings only come with the female ends so good luck trying to do anything with it when you open the box, also good luck trying to figure out what type of male quick connect fits. I just bought all new and replaced the fittings instead of guessing.

Q: Mastercraft 20 Gallon Vertical Air Compressor, 2-hp If this compressor is vertical why does the manual say it’s recommended for horizontal but can be used in vertical position?

A: This unit can function both horizontally and vertically. The manual recommends horizontal due to the positioning of the shroud and pressure gauges which are easier to read in the horizontal position. This compressor will work without issue in either horizontal or vertical position. The recommendation is just for ease of reading the gauges.

A: The air hose is not included. A ¼" (6.4 mm) NPT air hose is required for connecting to the air compressor.
