This rivet tool comes with five different nose pieces that can be swapped out, depending on the job, and attach to the body so you won’t lose them when not in use. With a body made from premium steel, this riveter also has hand-friendly grips for comfortable use. The included container collects debris to keep your workplace clutter-free.

C'est un excellent outil à riveter. Bien plus résistant que ceux que j'ai utilisés auparavant pour les gros rivets. Le seul hic, c'est que le petit boîtier en plastique est trop fragile, devrait être amélioré .

Expensive for a tool that broke first try

The tool at first , thought it was great , strong but , went to use it the first time and the pin got stuck and broke inside and unable to retrieve it

Q: I own this, and it does a great job. However, the left over piece does not fall into the container, it stays stuck in the mandrel. Every time. What am I doing wrong here?

A: I'm updating my question to include my own answer. Stainless steel rivets work perfectly fine, every time. With aluminum rivets, the hard steel mandrel crushes the stem of the rivet and bites into it, preventing it from falling into the container.

Q: How is this used for rivet nuts? Does it come with the threaded attachments or are they sold seperately? Does the owner's manual provide any explanation?

A: No, the rivet nut tool is completely different. Blind rivets and rivet nuts are not the same, blind rivets are smooth and require a middle shaft to be pulled into the gun which then "pops" off into the gun reservoir. Rivet nuts are screwed onto the rivet nut gun, and the gun compresses the rivet nut to grip the metal, you then unscrew the gun shaft from the nut.

A: Depends more on the length of the shank of the plastic rivet. Does not work with the plastic rivets for Jeep fenders as the shank is not long enough to engage the teeth inside the tool.

A: That is precisely what I thought! Thanks for the response. Too bad it wasn't made in Taiwan instead. I don't want to buy Chinese made items but it is hard to find some tools made elsewhere! Pretty sad times, these could be made in North America.
