Featuring thermal overload protection, the sump pump switches off before the motor overheats, ensuring longevity. This sump pump is easy to install and maintain, and includes a 10-foot (3-meter) power cord for convenient placement.

Small, quiet and powerful.

This pump is so much quieter, and empties my sump in half the time my previous pump did. I like it's small footprint especially the float which cannot get hung up like my previous float switch. Very happy with this after a few weeks of use.

Fantastic little pump! It works as it should, and it’s mostly quiet. Only thing is, it would be nice to have it documented anywhere on the box or online what size the outlet is. 1-1/2” threaded female. That’s something I know now that required a second run to Canadian Tire, the return of the threaded adapter that I wrongly guessed it would be, and the subsequent purchase of the correct adapter. Such a simple piece of text anywhere would have prevented that extra time taken.

A: There was already a check valve in the line for the pump I replaced with this one; however I actually think the pump has a built-in check valve, so you wouldn't need one. You would need to check to be sure

Q: what is the horizontal distance that this sump pump can pump water

A: Centrifugal pumps have limited head (vertical) distance of that they can pump (say 10-15 ft). Horizontal with no back pressure it would be 50-100 ft if the pipe is big and the flow rate low.

Q: What is the minimum water level before pump will turn on? If the pump float is set to the minimum water level, will the pump burn-out from continuos use, and if not, how much water will typically remain in sump basin once the pump shuts down?

A: Men comes on when there is approximately 4" of water. ABOUT 1 inch of water remains in the sump basin

Q: 99555 and 99505 check valve did not produce any results in the search. Could you please check your check valve item number and more info, so a person can actually find it on the website, please!
