I bought this lock because of the shrouded body for my trailer. It had a super snug fit and there was just now way to get at it. Unfortunately after only 8 months I could still get it open but now the locks don't close anymore. I just couldn't push it back shut. At least I didn't have to cut them off. I replaced them today with a pair of Master Lock Covered Padlock. Let's see if they hold up any better.

I was sold on the shrouded body as I was hoping for a bit more security than your average padlock. You could probably still get to the shackle with a hacksaw, but the shroud will make it more difficult and awkward.
I've now had this lock for about 5 years and it still looks as good as new, despite being outside all the time.
It still feels nice and solid and doesn't have a flimsy key you're afraid of breaking off in the lock. What else can you ask for?
