I have not used all as yet so this rating is for the ones I've used...the fry pan and medium size pot heats evenly, maintain the heat and was a joy to use...there was a bit of sticking that could be the heat was too high

Q: I have heard that glass lids have exploded is this a problem with this brand?

A: Just went to wash the lid from the largest of the pots and the lid literally exploded. The glass looks like a broken windshield on a car. The set is only about a year old and now we are afraid to use the rest of the pots.

A: I wouldn't think so. They are 18/10 stainless steel. I would not put any pot or pan in the oven. I know that Lagostina is oven safe but these Masterchef, I can't see it.
