les 2 pierres du Y sont trop proches l'une de l'autre pour permettre le passage sur une lame de gardien qui est un peu plus large que le patin de joueur. Il faut forcer pour faire un passage et ce n'est pas top top. Sinon, il ce peut que ce soit un excellent produit mais dans mon cas ça ne fonctionne pas vraiment.

Best 20$ I ever spent for hockey

I bought one of these years ago when I was in high school, playing and reffing hockey alot. I am now almost 40 with kids that skate. I still use the same one. It has saved me alot of time and money over the years. Any time anyone mentions the newer Sparx sharpener, I always tell them to try the magic stick first.

Q: How many times will this sharpen skates? How many uses? Given the average person says you need to go over each skate 2-3 swipes, how many pairs or skates will this sharpen?

A: There is no specific number of times or usages for the Magic-Stick. First it can depend on the size of the skates. Second, the number of usages can depend on the user. Running it harder will run out the Magic-Stick much faster.

A: You can use this tool on both hockey and figure skates although it is a temporary fix for a missing edge and skates should be still be sharpened afterwards. Note that our Cameo figure skates do come pre sharpened.
