With a wireless sensor range of up to 91 m, it records high and low temperatures, with an indoor range of 0°C to 50°C and an outdoor range of -40°C to 60°C. Use it for summer camping in our RV. Place the sensor on the door of the propane tank compartment and it gives us outside and inside temperatures. Used double sided tape to attach both units.

Q: What model no. is this? A review says it uses 2 AA's on the sensor and 2 AA's on the station. Your info says 2 AAs and 3AAAs. There's a big difference in power delivery and battery life

  • A: An earlier version of this product that I owned used 3 AA batteries in the display. However, the one I just purchased (2025) has a display that uses the 2 of the smaller AAA batteries. I would also prefer if the display used AA batteries. Who cares if the case is slightly larger?

  • A: 1. Insert batteries (as required-AA and AAA's). 2. Keep sensor and station within 5 feet apart for at least 1 minute to insure proper connections are made. 3. Mount sensor vertically on north facing wall or shaded area, under an eave or rail preferred. (maximum range 100 metres) The temperature calibrations require at least 24 hrs.

Q: CAN I use that Thermometer for the freezer? I’m looking for a thermo with a steel probe (sounding the temperature inside the apparel) and the  reading would be outside the freezer. In case of hydro failure,I want to be able to read it without opening it.
