On cherchait depuis longtemps un thermomètre extérieur qui indiquait la température exacte! Après plusieurs essais, on a trouvé la station météo La Crosse! Vendu!!! Ça fonctionne parfaitement et plus besoin de se pencher pour regarder le thermomètre à l’extérieur. La station intérieure nous indique les degrés int/ext en un clin d’oeil, et son modèle est délicat et esthétique. Nous sommes très safisfaits.

Needed to replace on old digital thermometer. Love the large display that we can read from the kitchen when the display is next to our front door. Appreciate that it can hang on the wall or sit on a surface. Docked a point due to no clock function.. our old one told us the time and we really found that handy to have. Besides that it’s been working great these past weeks!

Q: What model no. is this? A review says it uses 2 AA's on the sensor and 2 AA's on the station. Your info says 2 AAs and 3AAAs. There's a big difference in power delivery and battery life

  • A: An earlier version of this product that I owned used 3 AA batteries in the display. However, the one I just purchased (2025) has a display that uses the 2 of the smaller AAA batteries. I would also prefer if the display used AA batteries. Who cares if the case is slightly larger?

Q: What is the model number of this item? I'd like to know the model number because Canadian Tire doesn't have a picture of the product on its website, and I want to be able to find a picture of it elsewhere before ordering.

  • A: 1. Insert batteries (as required-AA and AAA's). 2. Keep sensor and station within 5 feet apart for at least 1 minute to insure proper connections are made. 3. Mount sensor vertically on north facing wall or shaded area, under an eave or rail preferred. (maximum range 100 metres) The temperature calibrations require at least 24 hrs.

Q: CAN I use that Thermometer for the freezer? I’m looking for a thermo with a steel probe (sounding the temperature inside the apparel) and the  reading would be outside the freezer. In case of hydro failure,I want to be able to read it without opening it.

  • A: Yes, as long as you are allowed to drill a screw hole into the siding. Keep it out of direct sunlight or it will read way too high.
