bought this knife set did all the research thought it was the best set . I went rusty and one knife snapped in half and the scissors wont even cut paper will NEVER buy this brand again and would never recommend this product to anyone

These knives are very versatile around the kitchen. Though they are not professional knives they feel balanced in the hand and are easy to guide through soft to hard flesh. I've had these knives for 5 years and they are still in great shape. Best is you can pick up knives separately to replace as needed. Don't like or use the sharpened provided as I found it on the low end for sharpeners. I use another one I have and would suggest the same for anyone else to purchase a better one. Other than that it's the perfect set for the home, and cottage and friend's home and anywhere else you can put it.

Q: Why are my knives rusting? The knives in this block have rust spots after just one hand wash.

A: If the knives are rusting, this is very uncharacteristic of the set which leads us to believe you received a defected set. We recommend you return them to the store and replace them with a new set (with receipt). If they were hand washed, to make sure that they are thoroughly dried before putting them back into the block, as this could also lead to rusting.
