This machine really did not meet my expectations, it’s hard to figure which cutting blade you’re trying to align. I can only get it to slice won’t grate. Tge advertising shows sliced potatoes but the top opening on the 9 cup bowl barely fits a small onion. It did shred caggage and slice a carrot but even then the carrot kept going sideways. Not a fan and don’t recommend
