The Kidde P3010KT-CA is a 10-year, sealed battery, smoke alarm with photoelectric sensing technology and Hush feature. The 85dB alarm tone is accompanied by a voice warning feature. The alarm will automatically activate when it is attached to the mounting bracket; there are no pull tabs, no switches, everything is automatic. This alarm contains a 10-year tamper proof battery that eliminates the need for battery replacement and ends worry of unauthorized battery removal. The alarm provides continuous protection from smoke and fire, even during power outages.

    false alarms, finicky hush button

    2 out of 4 gave me false alarms after two weeks. hush button doesn't hush right away. after it finally hushes it sounds again after 60 seconds, even though instructions say otherwise. Had to disable two of them permanently with kill switch to shut them up. will stick with 9v battery ones from now on, always had issues or short life span with internal batt 10y smoke alarms. will only buy first alert or garrison now

    • A: This is the Kidde P3010KT-CA. Same model as P3010K-CA but this one has a voice warning as well as the normal beeps.
