Temporary Shed

We bought a Keter Oakland shed about 5 years ago. It was great for about 3 years, then started falling apart. Seams broke open, small branch broke the roof and the wall, door screws broke off. It's a mess. We contacted Keter, and they said we could buy replacement parts. I wouldn't invest any more money into this shed. If you want a temporary shed, this is the one for you. We felt as if we just rented it... paid about $1,000 for it, and it lasted less than 5 years (basically rented it for $200 per year).
No, I do not recommend this product.

We bought this shed & as we were putting it together we realized two pieces of the plastic was warped. Not super impressed as it doesn’t perfectly fit together...

An excellent purchase

Thrilled with the new shed, it is everything I expected. Built myself without assistance with the exception of having my wife hold the skylight end cap while drilling screws from the other side (pressure is needed).
Impressed with the composite door frame which is actually quite heavy and enables final tweaking to ensure correct operation of the door before putting the final screws in.
It was a relaxing way for a dad to have kid-free quiet time on a Labour Day weekend Saturday! Really enjoyed the build. Tons of screws, be sure to have your cordless drill fully charged.
Installed it on an 8 x 8 pad of 24" pavers atop a sand a gravel base to ensure level foundation.

Terrible Product

I received the smaller shed as a gift a couple of years ago and one of the doors has faded out and has a chalky hazy appearance. It looks awful and Keter is not helpful. I would never buy from this company again.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Hello Oceyana, The Oakland shed below is assembled by tongue and groove panels that are screwed to secure. It is designed to NOT be disassembled, however it is possible to breakdown into smaller more manageable pieces.

Q: Should I build the base to the external base specifications or 7.5' x 7'? Thanks! The shed says it's 7.5' X 7' and yet the manual says the external dimensions of the base are 82.7" (6.89") X 85" (7.088').
