Q: How many uses can I get out of this kit for a typical k&N air cleaner being cleaned once a year, no off road driving?
3 years agoA: I have a GMC Sierra 1500, with a fairly large conical K&N filter, I get about 4, Good sprays with an amount left over that won't do a complete spray and cleaning. with that in mind, I do a lot of off-roading, so I tend to use a little more of the Product, on each use.

Q: Where do you dispose the dirty water after cleaning the filter?
2 years agoA: Down the drain. You clean the air filter in the sink. Spray it with soap, let it sit for 20 minutes then rinse it off with water. Then spray the filter with the oil, let it dry and reinstall it.

Q: Can I use this on an Airaid filter?
4 years agoA: Ive just used it on my Airaid in my 2nd Gen Ram. Worked great. Filter was filthy, the difference is there.

4 years agoA: Hi Dave, this product is designed for the K&N branded engine air filters only. We do stock a specific cleaning kit for the cabin air filters by K&N, however. That product is linked below. It's recommended that the cleaning kit for the air filters be used on air filters only, and the cabin air cleaning kit for cabin air filters only. 5 years agoA: Hi there, the K&N Recharger Kit 99-500 is designed to restore the performance of your K&N oiled cotton air filter. It's suggested to be used on K&N products only.

Q: Is this good for atv/dirtbike air filters ?
6 years agoA: The service kit is designed to work with all K&N branded air filters, regardless of application, which are listed as being washable. Cleaning and oiling your air filter in your motorcycle, ATV or dirt bike is one of the most important things you can do in regards to maintenance. If a filter isn’t cleaned and oiled properly, particles like dust, sand or dirt will get in and wear out your engine components a lot faster. With a properly cleaned filter, your machine is going to run a lot better, and it’s going to last a lot longer.
