Product Details

Just For Copper's Solderless Copper Bonding Cream saves you time by bonding in 70% less time than it would take to solder. The cream can be used on all rigid copper and copper alloy pipes, as well as copper and brass fittings up to 2.5” in diameter. The cream does not conduct electricity, and boasts a tensile strength in excess of 1000 PSI. It can withstand up to 200 PSI within 7 minutes after bonding, and up to 500 PSI after 4 hours. This bonding cream is ideal for installing and repairing rigid copper plumbing in potable water systems and gas applications. The non-conductive formula will keep you safe while saving time on any plumbing application that requires you to join copper pipes.

Surprised it works, but it does...

Surprised it works, but it does... We had to repair a 2 inch section of copper pipe that ran up against a ceiling, where using a brazing torch and solder would've been cumbersome and a little risky. We figured we had nothing to lose by trying "Just-for-Copper" liquid sealant for copper joints. Well, to our surprise, it worked... do follow the instructions carefully, do NOT clean off the pipe after sanding in prepration for joining... the grit is integral for the sealant to work. Not to see how the repaired joint lasts over time/a winter or two.

a year ago

All i can say is wow. I've been fighting with a connection that just would not solder, for months, tried every quick fix in the book and stumbled upon this one, skepitcal as all the others didnt work. This one shocked me, did exactly what it said it would, no more pinhole leak!
