Very useful. The only downside for me was that the knife slots are too close together. My knives that have larger handles could not go directly next to each other. I assume that is part of the design to accommodate a variety of knives. I felt that the price was too high for something that could only hold a few large knives.

Wonderful Safe Knife Storage

I am very happy with the purchase of 2 of these units which easily fit side-by-side in my drawer. They store all of my chef/bread/cake/specialty knives and steak knives safely in a drawer. This is such an improvement over a bulky knife block that only holds a few knives of a certain size and takes up space on my counter or in a cupboard. Plus, I don't risk cutting myself by putting my hand in a drawer with loose knives that didn't fit in a block and are mixed in with various other kitchen items. Great purchase!
