The rating is only because I've just used it once on a small project. Holding grip is much better than my 'experienced' Mastercraft grips and appreciate the one-hand operability.

An extra hand or two to add to the two that God gave you!

I regularly do building and around-the-house jobs on my own and occasionally desire an extra hand or two to hold things together while I glue or screw or position them - and these are a welcome helper! Compared to buying these singly, the set of four is a deal. Note that two of them are longer (i.e. span wider) than the other two.

Great for leather crafting and sewing.

I've tried a variety of brands and sizes in my sewing and leather working and so far these are the best for keeping rulers in place and not marking leather when cutting. Happy with these and the value for money in the 4 pack can't be beat. I wish they would have more sets like this on offer.
