Irwin Quick Grip not so grippy.

Since Irwin clamps changed from Quick Grip Vice Grip it has deteriorated to a poor quality product.
It would be nice if Canadian Tire could source a better quality quick grip style clamp.

Decent small clamps

Compared to my original Quick-grip clamps before Irwin acquired them you can tell some cost-reduction has occurred. The gripping faces are harder plastic instead of the yellow soft rubber of the originals so they tend to slip more. The hand-grip is less robust and overall construction made of thinner/cheaper plastic. They do the job, just not sure they'll last as long as my pre-Irwin version clamps which are still working for me after nearly 20 years.
