Compact touch provides good heat.

I was looking for a small heat source to use to unfreeze padlocks on containers kept outside. This works ap promised. Self lighting, providing enough heat to warm up tbe lock.
The tourch comes empty but is easy to fill.just know you have to have butane or pick up some before leaving the store.

The Iroda PT-200, Hand-held Mini Butane Torch with stand - the perfect electrician's torch.

The Iroda PT-200 Butane Torch is so much better than the other hand-held style of mini torch that produces a small precise flame. This torch has a proper stand which means you can set it down to do something else while you are working and then with using just your thumb you can easily start it up again. You can also control the amount of fuel to the torch which will give you a long 21/2" flame with a precise point tip that can be reduced in size by reducing the amount of fuel but still creating a sharp, very hot flame. You can further reduce the flame such it can become more like a candle flame. This torch is perfect for soldering and also for shrinking electrical tubing which shrinks when heat is applied. It's a tool that every electrician and DIYer should have in their electrical tool kit.

Q: I bought this iroda butane torch and a bottle of the woods butane, but I was not able to connect the butane to the torch to fill it because the collar on the torch block the butane bottle. What brand of butane refill works to fill the iroda?

A: Woods, Martin, and other brands sold in the camping section are designed to work in portable butane stoves. You need to purchase a butane refill canister (very similar in size) from the torch, soldering, welding, etc. section of the store. For example, brands like Bernzomatic, Ronson, and MagTorch should work. I'm sure there are other brands that work, too.
