Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works great. My old one went out on mine so I got this one. I was happy to see that they have a digital manual, as I would always lose my paper one. However when I scanned the QR code it said it was a bad gate way and even typing it in didnt work. For me it is not a big deal as I know how to use them but for someone starting out they could use it. It is very accurate and is very versatile and helps with all the projects I need to get done

Solid for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Innova 3320 Auto-Ranging Digital Multimeter is a reliable and user-friendly tool for both DIYers and professionals. Its auto-ranging feature simplifies measurements by automatically selecting the correct range, making it ideal for novices while still efficient for experienced users. Device does feel like on the cheaper side compared to others in the market. Overall I recommend for beginners to get familiar with multimeters.

Great Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This multimeter is a bargain for what it can do as it is very versatile and can also function like an oscilloscope in certain applications. It also is very easy to use and its rechargeable battery lasts a really long time. In fact, I use this at least once or twice a week. Even though it is digital, it appears they have just the right damping in displaying results as it provides easily readable numbers that do not jump all over the place. The ultimate compliment I can bestow on this product is that it says what it does and does what it says. Highly recommended as I would buy this product again

Q: I'm not an electrician; will this meter explain how to go about testing my motorcycle battery?

1 Answer
  • A: Please visit the Equus website (http://www.equus.com/Product/3320/Auto-Ranging-DMM ); it is fairly detailed and provides an online manual. Specifically regarding your question, it should not be too difficult. Set the dial on the multimeter to the corresponding battery voltage (e.g. 12V, indicated on the dial). You will have your two leads (i.e. red = + , black = -), which you will pair up accordingly with the battery. There are three LED lights, that quickly indicate the status of charge. Refer to the battery test table in the manual for specifics, or you can easily find a terminal voltage scale for a 12V battery, which provides an approximated % charge based on the multimeter read out.
