Used. There was moisture when I opened the unit

I had to returned it because it was open box and the inside was wet. I think the humidifier was used and somebody returned it. I was told to meet somebody in the aisle to get a brand new one but nobody came. I waited 20 minutes but nobody was there. So i wasted my time and had to go back to customer service to get a refund

Don't think just get it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was grateful to receive this humidifier. It was something our household needed for awhile. The instructions were clear and precise. The humidifier was easy to assemble and set up. I started using it and almost immediately the results were noticeable. The air flowing through my bathroom and bedroom felt clean and crisp. It gave me the feeling of being in a freshly cleaned, everything new, room. I loved it instantly. It does require regular maintenance of cleaning it so it doesn't acquire buildup and mildew. I would definitely recommend this humidifier if your in the market for one!

Q: Does this humidifier tank fill from the top or you have to take the tank off and turn it upside to fill with water?

A: Tank comes off and turns upside down to fill. It does drip a bit when doing so, but otherwise it is a wonderful unit. Very quiet with a fine mist. It also has directional spouts on the top. We like ours a lot.

Q: I’ve had two Honeywell cool mist humidifiers that have presented the same problem. There is always water in the base where the humidifier sits atop it. Can’t find any source of why both humidifier tanks would leak? Any help would be appreciated

A: Thank you for your inquiry. It is normal to see water in the base of the unit. The water tank will release water into the base, where the nebulizer vibrates at ultrasonic speeds to create mist. Q: Does the Protec demineralization cartridge PDC51CTP (#1430006) need to be eventually replaced or can it be cleaned..and what is the replacement cost of this cartridge?
