It fits

Only writing this review because of all the negative feedback from the rest of the reviews. The cover fit perfectly on my Gen 3 helix 7. Not sure why everyone else had an issue. It is tight but that's what you want. Put it on like you would a fitted bed sheet on a mattress. One corner at a time and there won't be a problem. Start with the corner that has the power button and you won't accidentally power it back on.

I didn't check the other reviews before purchasing this product, but wish I would have. I can't get it to fit on my Helix 7. Wayyyyyy too tight!

Just another disappointment from humminbird... I have never had more buyers remorse in a brand in my life. Luckily this is the cheapest thing I hate from this company. I just cracked the gimbal on my g3 (because it's plastic unlike my g4) trying to put this stupid thing on. It's so tight I literally broke it trying to put it on.... Do you product test at all??? Or are you just drop products and laugh at us to the point of tears and wiping your eyes with dollar bills?

A mediocre solution from Humminbird

I've had to replace mine after a couple of years. It deteriorates in the sun over time and the edge of the cover (the part that stretches and wraps around the unit) starts to rip. It fits very tight and as pointed out by another reviewer you can accidentally hit power button on the unit when putting this on. So be careful.
