Plastic seems easy to break some go together easily others not so much. Should have extended the feet rather than the ice hook to prevent it from flipping over. All in all it foes what you need it to do.

Good rod holder

I agree with some of the observations about the cross brace being very tight, but I’ve used mine a bunch and it has been great. I bent the curve on the trigger a bit tighter so it cannot come off the cord.
I really like how compact it is when folded, it fits perfectly in my rod case. Mostly I use it without the trigger fishing for panfish. I’ve never had a big fish on it.

Not bad but not great

It's ok, but not a huge fan, especially the trigger. Also very tippy, you have to use the ice anchor or your gonna loose your rod to a big fish.

Good concept, Poorly made

The concept of these is great but the quality of the product is terrible. I purchased 2 of them, neither one made it through a day of fishing. very cheap, flimsy design. The plastic hinge that allows the legs to be folded in for transport is very thin and weak. Snapped one leg off of both holders. Very unhappy overall with the product.
No, I do not recommend this product.
