Hopkins Towing Solution Tailgate LED Light, 48-60-in

The Hopkins 48-60" LED tailgate light bar provides extra safety and customization to the tailgate area of the vehicle. The universal tailgate light fits onto most vehicles with 12V systems including mid to full sized pickups, SUVs, vans, RVs and trailers. The light provides 5 functions: stop, tail, right turn, left turn and reverse. Easily install the light bar with bracket and screws or adhesive tape (both provided in package) on any smooth surface. The unit comes with a standard four-prong plug to run the STT functions, however, there is an extra bulleted wire that runs the reverse function. This will fit into a 7 to 5 adapter or can be used with a harness to keep the 7 and four prong OEM plugs free for alternative uses. The unit will operate as a third STT function without plugging in the reverse wire bullet - so even if you don't have the adapter or harness, or time to wire to the reverse wiring of your tow vehicle, the standard use of the tailgate light bar will operate by simply plugging in the four-prong plug from the light. The 2 piece design includes a watertight connection and the IP67 rating ensures use in extreme climates. NOTE: This is not a primary STTR light - it should not be used as your only STTR operations, only as a third source for brakes, turns, tail lights, reverse lights and hazards. It is not a legal STTR light on its own.
