    Thermostat imprécis

    Ce radiateur comprend un thermostat programmable très imprécis, la température doit descendre de 4 degrés dans la pièce avant qu'il démarre pour la réchauffer, vous aurez le temps d'avoir froid et comme aucune télécommande n'est comprise, vous devrez sortir du lit pour démarrer le radiateur manuellement. J'ai testé 2 radiateurs Honeywell comme celui-ci et les 2 étaient identiques.

    Terrible temperature sensing

    The good heat is the curse of this unit. Bought to maintain temperature. They actually put the thermometer inside the unit, which is completely affected by the rushing air between the fan, and the ceramic element. So it always thinks it is considerably cooler than it actually is. The other hilarious issue with that is, when the fan finally stops, it can then use the ambient temp to accurately gauge the sensor. So even if you offset the fan to compensate for the terrible design, each time it turns off, it becomes irrelevant. Woke up last night to 36 c. Both my pets were lying on the ground panting. How is it even possible to overlook such an obvious variable? Not impressed.

    Fast safe heat

    A great small but powerful heater, I use it frequently to warm up the bedroom when the radiators will take too long. Variable timed shutoff and tip protection makes it very safe.

    Great portable heater

    Bought this portable heater for my kid's room for additional heating when he goes to sleep at night. Although small in size, it can heat heat up and maintain warmth in a decent sized bedroom. Minimal noise when operated and the sleep function helps you save energy.

    Not for precise temperatures

    The thermostat is somehow not updated - i.e. it will read a temperature high enough to not be activated even after the temperature falls again. Turning it off and on again "wakes" it to reassess the temperature correctly and come back on but I wanted the room at a consistent temperature without intervention required.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    Q: How large of an area does it heat up effectively?

    • A: This heater should provide adequate heat for a small/med sized room, but It’s very difficult to say exactly because many factors determine how a room will retain heat, such as insulation, height of ceiling, number or doorways, windows, outdoor temp, etc.
