works well but...

I got this trap a couple of weeks ago and it worked ok but, after the first couple of squirrels were caught, a raccoon had its way with the cage and the spring came unhooked. I put it back and i actually saw a squirrel squeeze its way out from the trap door. There's a very small gap; the locking bar doesn't touch the plastic lip on the door, there a little slack.
I also find the trigger mechanism to be a bit hard to activate.
If you're handy, you can make this a lit more sensitive. Still, it works pretty good, but could be better.

easy to use ...

... and I've already had my first hotel guest. Trap work perfectly, it was very easy to set up, it caught a squirrel, which was very easy / safe to release the from the trap. One caution, a neighbor once told me to put newspaper in the trunk of the car, when transporting squirrels from where there are caught to where they are released - this because they can do their business while on the trip. Would be nice if these traps came with a detachable, cleanable, plastic bottom cover to be used instead of newspapers. Regardless, I am very pleased with the device in my first 24 hours with it.

Caught about 12 chipmunks

After catching and relocating 12 chipmunks, the trap is not closing properly. Something keeps eating the peanut butter, but is not getting trapped. I have tried to reset the trap a few more times, but the good is gone and nothing is getting caught.

The Ez Set live trap lives up to its name. The set and release mechanism is just forward of the carrying handle. This allows you to open the trap and release the animal with one hand. This means less time fussing with the latch and less stress for the animal.
