Hard to set up and put away

This bassinet was gifted to me by a family member at my baby shower. After recently giving birth, I brought it out to start using it but discovered that the long sides would not click open, even when the bottom of the bassinet was not fully lowered and locked into place. At one point, my husband was eventually able to get it open after several attempts, but he was then unable to collapse it again to put it away. Unfortunately, this makes the product very difficult to use and not user-friendly. At the moment, it is sitting in our guest bedroom in pieces because we cannot properly assemble or store it. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this playpen.

We were excited to buy this for our new grandson! He hasn’t used it yet but we love the change table add-on that can also flip over the side and out of the way once he’s bigger, but is also securely in place when in use. The caddy is also securely attached and convenient for keeping essentials like diapers and wipes close at hand., although only fit on the other end of the crib and not on the side. The bassinet is great while he’s little and the mattress seems reasonably soft. Fairly easy to assemble.

Started to fall apart before the first use

I bought this so my new grandson would have a place to sleep and eventually play when he was at my house. I put it together, which was a little tricky but I figured it out fairly quickly, and it seemed perfect. The day before my daughter and her family were to arrive, I went to put bedding in the bassinet portion and noticed the seams were coming apart where the stabilizing rods met the edges. I was not going to put an infant in a bassinet that was starting to rip so I returned it and did not get a replacement. The playpen part still looked fine but I didn’t think it was a great sign that it was falling apart before it was even used. Maybe it was just a lemon. The concept was great.
