I have a ATV, a 2002 Kawasaki 650 (now 700), with many engine modifications, including 12.5:1 compression. It gets used for everything, from drag racing to plowing snow, to moto-cross. It was running hot, even with a rich A/F mixture. 91 pump gas wasn't cutting it. Independent real world testing showed that NOS Race Octane Booster to be among the best boosters on the market, and would add 30 points (not the 60 advertised, but better than most of the competition) of octane when mixed as directed. I mixed enough to add 40 points (91 up to 95), and now the ATV runs considerably cooler and a little stronger and snappier off the bottom. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Avec mon logiciel ECUTEK sur ma Scion FRS je peux voir si l'ECU détecte du knock et si c'est le cas, ce dernier diminue le timing pour être moins agressif. Quand je flash mon ecu, le timing est à 1.0 ou 100% si vous préférez comme mon tuner l'a déterminé avec ses paramètres personnalisé. Avec du 91 d'octane : Mon advance multiplier passe de 1.0 à 0.6 - 0,7 dans le meilleur des mondes. Avec du 94 d'octane chez Pétro-Canada à 3 Rivières : Mon advance multiplier est passé à 0.84 !! Pas mal tout de même ! En revenant dans l'est du Québec, n'ayant pas accès à du 94, j'ai décidé d'essayer ce produit et j'ai mis toute la bouteille de 473ML pour 40-45L d'essence environ. J'ai reflashé mon ecu pour que mon timing revienne par défaut à 100% et je suis allé battre l'auto autant comme autant pour voir de combien l'ecu allait diminué le timing cette fois-ci. Résultat final : Après avoir rouler la moitié de mon plein d'essence à conduire l'auto de façon très agressive et inspiré, mon timing est encore à 1.0. Il n'a pas diminué d'une graine. Cela signifie que l'essence est maintenant capable de prendre le tune à 100% et non pas à 70% ou 80%. C'est la première fois que je vois cela depuis que j'ai tuné l'auto en 2013 ou 2014. Dommage que se soit trop dispendieux pour l'utiliser à toutes les sauces. La vrai question est pourquoi sommes nous trop imbécile pour avoir accès à du 94 dans l'est du Québec comme dans l'ouest ?

A performance tune on my FRS would encounter knock and pull timing advance on 91 octane from the local Shell (even though the tune was designed for 91 octane). After adding a bottle of this to a full tank, I can run a 93 tune without ANY knock issues whatsoever. This is measured by my ECU, and is not just what I think I can hear or feel.
