Lights turn on randomly

AVOID THIS PRODUCT. I bought these a while ago, and recently they’ve been turning on randomly and started flashing. Worst part is they would turn on at 2am - 3am for no reason what so ever, so I’d have to get up from my bed to manually turn them off. If I could give it 0 stars I would because of how frustrating it is to have to deal with these “smart” bulbs.

No, I do not recommend this product.

With smart bulbs, this type of behavior can sometimes be related to the way they are powered. If the wall switch is used frequently to turn the bulbs on and off, it can trigger a reset mode, which may cause flashing. In most cases, the bulbs will exit this mode automatically after a few minutes once power remains stable. Similarly, lights turning on unexpectedly can sometimes be linked to brief power interruptions that cause the bulbs to restart.

Worked very well, until it didn't

I've had this for a couple of years, and while it has worked great until now and is very customizable, all of a sudden it won't connect and seems to have lost its marbles. I deleted it and tried to re-add it, but the connectivity problems persist. Disappointing.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: can you turn the bulb off with wifi as well?

A: Not sure what you mean about with WiFi. there is an app that you put on your phone, that you use to control the light on and off, color, brightness, etc. And the bulb does connect to WiFi, so if that's what you mean then yes. it is also Google smart home compatible, so we generally use a Google home mini speaker to use voice commands to turn it on and off.
