Terrible Holster. You’ll loose the tool

I’ve gone through 3 of these because of the incredibly low quality holster that come with it. The Velcro is garbage after a few weeks and will not stay secure. For the price of this tool I would expect better quality. I WILL NOT be buying another Gerber.

The Center-Drive is almost a 5 star tool, but not quite there yet. The one handed operation is just awesome. Pliers, main blade and the Center-Drive screwdriver can all be easily opened with one hand. Even the interior tools are relatively easy to get at. I use the prybar WAY more than I ever thought I would. It's a legit little tool. The whole tool is generally pretty robust. There are a few things I hope can be improved. The pliers do not have any griping strength on thin materials IF the spare bit holder is closed. If you open it up, then the pliers grip better, but they will still bottom out the handles on thin materials. There is just too much flex in the assembly. The wire strippers are ok. You do have to add thread locker to the insert screws or they come loose. I wish it came with the scissors in place of the awl. Lastly, I think Gerber should include a screw-on belt clip. I added one over the Gerber logo on the Center-Drive side of the tool and it is a game changer. Clips right in my pocket. Tool pouches aren't for everyone...neither are clip.

Sheath is no good. molle instead. pliar tooth very small, wont grip anything. BIG Mistake... Knife very dull, must be sharpened. .Heavy and clupsy. not very army friendly.

I got the Center Drive in summer of 2017 and this is by far the best all around multi-tool on the market. After over 6 years of heavy use and being tossed around the garage, it is still in great shape. I've had to sharpen the knife and tighten some of the bolts, but that is called maintaining your tools (something a lot of reviewers on here seem to know little about). Overall it's a great tool, I recently got a Dual-Force so I'll be back in 6 years to review that one.
